The position requires a mix of delivering activity sessions, general site maintenance and preparing self led activities.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I very much enjoyed my program it includes a good mix of delivering session, training on new activities and site maintenance.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to deliver a wide variety of instructed activities including receiving NGB’s.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program is very well structured with plenty of time allocated for learning, and personal development.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received lots of support from my employer, with them making sure I was confident in every activity before letting me work independently.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider, provides each apprentice with 3 national governing body awards, they also allocate apprentices a mentor who I have always found easy to contact and they also run online webinars for additional learning.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think the skills I have learned on my course are invaluable as the course has given me a good mix of practical experience and technical knowledge.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

The centre often run socials e:g having BBQs where you can socialise with your colleagues and the centre amazing volunteer team.

I have learned an enormous amount during my time at Woodhouse park, including vast technical knowledge and experience, I have made close friends and grown vastly in confidence due to my experiences here.
