Working within a team to complete maintenance engineering tasks. This can be assisting the maintenance team with their work or fixing and replacing different components on site.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do enjoy my programme but college seems to focus on topics whihc may not be suitbale for everyone.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have been on many training courses, including the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, risk assessments and safety training. I have also developed my social skills, and feel that I have become more confident and have become a better listener.

I receive so much support from my managers, and feel like I could talk to them about anything that could be worrying me.

It should be more biased on the chosen subject- I should have studied more electrical systems.

Yes, I have been involved in many extra-curricular activities such as STEM workshops, Careers fairs, Nuclear week in Parliament, Young Scientist Live event. And also getting involved with the YGN.

It is a welcoming environment which is very friendly and you always get a hello as you walk past someone around site. Its also a place where you can always be encouraged to succeed and put yourself forward for as many opportunities that you would want to do.
