Intern Review

I worked across 2 practice areas and completed tasks throughout both days. I also participated in a group exercise where I had to present a pitch to a client. The atmosphere was very warm and collaborative; it was great to work with my supervisors to complete the tasks and gain a real insight into life at Dentons. My favorite part was getting a better understanding of the inclusive and diverse culture at Dentons. It was truly enjoyable!

Yes- I was asked to draft emails to clients and research specific provisions to then convey to clients.

I learnt a lot of new skills. In particular, I learned the need to consider a client's needs, goals, and future business aspirations when conveying any information. I enjoyed comprehending legislation and regulations that shape the way businesses function. It was great to experience areas of law that I had never come across; I certainly understood the importance of having a keen eye for detail when embarking on any new projects- it is important to understand which information is relevant and irrelevant.

I received a lot of support from my supervisors and other people I worked with on the scheme. It was a truly collaborative environment.
