Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My day to day role involves pricing a variety of surfacing schemes across the North West and Yorkshire religions, attending sites across these areas and engaging in commercial talks with clients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Being an important part of my team rather than just shadowing and doing little meaningful work like some apprentices end up doing.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Obviously have developed as an Estimator during my time in the role. I have also gained confidence, independence and overall real world experience, being thrown in at the deep end from early on.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme is well structured and clearly delivered to me by my employer and university.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a good amount of support from my employer, as they allow me extra time to complete important university work and allow me time off to attended my CORE Skills programme.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
See above**.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
It will help me preform better in the long run as my programme allows me full chartership at the end of the 5 years.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
All of the above. I have attended multiple of each of the above in my 2.5 years working at Tarmac.
