Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

When I began my apprenticeship I was in a Management Accountant role under the Enabling Functions part of the business, since completing my apprenticeship I have moved into a new role as Finance Manager for Technology. Looking after the Labour, Overheads and project related costs in the IST function in the business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Overall I loved the apprenticeship programme. It was a lot more work than I had originally thought, and at times it was overwhelming, but the whole experience was valuable and the skills i've taken away have been worth all of the additional work that was involved.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

During my apprenticeship I learnt new and more efficient ways to use excel, building on the skills I already had. I was also introduced to PowerBI, and have since build small dashboards within this system which I use with my business partners to track their sales revenue by market and category.
In my new role I hope to be able to use PowerBI to develop some of the tools the team currently use to make them more efficient for the end user.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme was well structured overall, however we had some coach changes throughout and there was delays on feedback in our assessments at time which was frustrating.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer (manager) was really supportive during the apprenticeship and gave me plenty of time to work on my apprenticeship and also gave me guidance on areas I could used as projects to support my studies
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Support was always available from Multiverse whenever it was needed either through the group sessions, or you could book individual sessions
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me additional skills which in turn have given me more confidence that I was apply into my old and now my new role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
