Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Ensuring HR duties are completed day to day, which includes payroll, pay queries, time and attendance system being up to date, recruitment, training, inductions, right to work checks, managing additional leave requests, interviewing, recognition for colleagues, housekeeping checks, absence management, letter writing, arranging meetings, arranging onsite physio, communication to colleagues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have only been on the program for less than a month so it is hard to say at this stage, but from what I have experienced it seems good so far.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes Morrisons has allowed me to many forms of training and I have had multiple roles since 2011. I have gone from picking office, to goods in office, to finance and now HR. All of which were new skills for me.

All the workshops and one to ones seem to be planned well in advance
How much support do you receive from your employer?

They are extremely supportive
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

It's hard to say at this moment as I have only been on the program for a few weeks
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has made me more knowledgeable in HR topics and makes me think more about my daily tasks and what I can do better
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are opportunities to go to other sites for events such a International Woman's Day, BAME events etc. There are no sports teams or social events regularly. We do sometimes organise events for charity such as walks or a one off football match for mental health awareness.

If you are willing to work hard this is the place for you. Speak up if you have a problem and don't suffer in silence, someone is always here to help.
