Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a day to day basis I prepare material to be used as evidence against a criminal offence. This can be varied involving desk based duties and gathering first hand evidence i.e. witness statements.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Overall I have enjoyed the program despite it being difficult at times.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills and developed existing skills. The new skills I have learnt include court procedures, custody procedures and filling out high level applications for data.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program is fairly well structured, however the nature of the role means that opportunities to acquire and demonstrate skills can vary from trainee to trainee.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Overall there is a lot of support available should you need it and are able to ask for it
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I didn't receive much support from my training provider. When I did ask for help though they were very amenable.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think that the qualification has enabled me to solidify skills in many areas and I understand all the functions of my role through undertaking the training.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are extra curricular activities to get involved in, however i have a large family so have not taken up the opportunity so far.
