Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In my role I do delivery notes which ensures paperwork are sent through to us when a delivery is due that day and the following days. I also learn new tasks each day which involves inbound customs etc. Everyday I am also doing my maths revision and completing tasks that have been assigned to me by my tutor.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy it because everyday is a new learning day for me and my self confidence has increased.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot about supply planning and any challenges I come across when doing delivery notes, everyday I am learning something new when I face problems that I am unsure about and expanding my knowledge with my coursework, maths and have been taught a few things in inbound customs.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well organised and balanced. Because it is well organised, I do not feel any pressure or stressed. I am able to go on with my day to day tasks and have a break to do any coursework that has been assigned to me which I am always given to complete in a month.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer. If I am unsure about any work, I know my employer will help me and explain it so I understand it more. They also support me by allowing any catch ups I have to do with my revision or coursework which I will then take a break from my work to do.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support from my training provider, I know if I am unsure about any work given to me, they will always help me and if I am not confident with myself with working towards my qualification, they will always go through the work with me to help me get a better understanding.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel that my qualification through my training provider has enhanced my ability to perform better in my role by improving my confidence and expanding my knowledge to a better understanding of the supply chain.

Yes, Howdens offer extra curricular activities, such as go-karting, rounders, organised social outings and etc.
