Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role is a supply chain apprenticeship scheme where I rotate around a variety of different supply chain roles, learning from experienced employees about what their role consists of and what I'd expect if I was to take that role long term.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I do enjoy my program. I feel very lucky to be able to partake in the program, considering the very generous salary we are given as well as many benefits and on top of that, our degree being funded by the business. We are also very well supported internally by managers and coaches

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt a huge variety of skills. This has ranged from people leading, to procurement, to continuous improvement, to soft skills. The apprenticeship opens you up to very pressurizing situations where you learn how to remain measured and focused whilst dealing with a wide variety of scenarios,

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My scheme is very well organised. I believe it has a range of different leaders, all who play a big part in their involvement in the scheme so that the apprentices are supported in all situations. The career growth is very well planned and opportunities are offered at the right times to grow us as much as possible.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer. Whether this be practical support in my role, or support with time to spend on my studies or even time away from the role to develop myself as a person. I am also massively supported in a financial way too which eases the stress.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
I feel I have received limited support from my training provider
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I do believe the course improves my ability in my role. I have felt it most in situations where I have had to lead people, my qualification ahs gone a long way to show me good methods and tools I can use in order to best deal with those different circumstances
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There is a wide range of enrichment teams that you can get involved in. These help to develop your skills in both workplace situations as well as external and more social situations. This helps to contribute to my core role as well so that I become more personable as a leader
