My ship makes sure I know what I need to do and helps me get better. They let me have a dispensation for my maths because of my dyslexia which really helped

The Royal Navy is my employer and trainer. They have been given me loads of information and support even when I’m deployed

I joined the navy to go to sea. It’s an added bonus getting a qualification
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

The navy is full of extra opportunities. I’ve been skiing, played competitive sport. I also was involved with the Queens funeral. I have loads of chances to do things outside of my normal job
