Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I really enjoy my role, I deal with the financial side of the job as a building is beiing built, whether its procurement, payments, VCR's etc. Everyday is different on a site which means different things to learn and complete are frequent.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the programme, i work on site for most of the year, but spend 4 weeks at University, 1 week at a time, I feel being on site helps me in University massively as Im first hand seeing the life of construction.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My confidence has developed since my apprenticeship, additionally my IT Skills have improved, my knowledge around general construction is also building everyday as im on a site and constantly learning new things.

My programme is structured and the site I'm currently on is organised which is helping me learn.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employees is really supportive, the QS I work with is always there to help me learn and understanding, as well as my line manger who constantly checks in and lets me know he is there for any support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I get alot of support from my Line Manager, Mentor and on site colleague, they are always there to help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel my qualifications will help me preform better in my role as it teaches me Laws and important facts regarding construction.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a lot of events with apprentices from Kier all over UK, as well as Kier Sport events over the summer, we have Christmas parties as well.
