On a daily basis I am required to manage subcontractor accounts and look after trade packages who are set to start on site.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The element of learning while earning has been great. Going to university also allows me to network with colleagues from the wider business.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Since starting my role I have developed my excel skills by learning new formulas to enhance my spreadsheets. I've also developed my conversational skills, in terms of speaking to subcontractors. I've also learnt about materials required to put together a building.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Feels extremely well structured, as I am aware of the days I am at university and what to expect. The SHU representative I have contact with always makes me aware of any updates.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive ab enormous amount of support from my employer. I have a mentor who I can liaise with whenever I have questions etc. I am able to go to anyone within the team to find out an answer to a question.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Support is always there. I'm able to contact someone from the University whenever and not worry about not getting a response.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

So far the course has helped me expand my skills on excel. Helps me in my day-to-day role as there are more shortcuts within excel.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Once a month some colleagues and I will play pool for an hour or two.
