Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My main duties consists of general admin tasks for Merseyside Police such as booking rooms for meetings, booking people onto educational courses, updating Force systems, checking court results and filing documents.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The apprenticeship is giving me the opportunity to learn new skills in an area different to my previous qualification . I found found there to be a good balance of coursework and learning on the job.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, My It skills have developed since working in admin, also I have learnt how the Force operates and how the different department work together.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

it is very organised, I have known what work needs to be completed and for when and the units have been clear to follow.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer. I have been able to gain work experience on different teams to develop my learning and also have been given time in the work day to complete my project.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have found there to be plenty of support, both inside college and in the work place. I have felt comfortable to ask for help with coursework and my project which has helped me to complete the course.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am able to understand how the organisation is run in much more detail since start in my new role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have joined a few events in the workplace such as the 50th Anniversary of Merseyside Police and have also enrolled to become a peer supporter . I am currently taking a some courses to help with this role
