Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am an apprentice working towards qualifying as a level 2 practitioner, I has collage days every other week to help learn things and to get my maths and English which I didn’t pass in school. My role is too be with the children while remembering the routine making sure nappies and other things are done and the routine is done at the right times

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love this job it’s a very rewarding job seeing children do new things and helping them to learn and grow

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt new skills for example how to make a baby bottle, changing a nappy correctly

Very organised everyone knows that they should be doing and staff don’t need reminding

Lots of support always checking in and making sure everything is okay, allow days out to catch up on collage work and always teaching you new things

Lots of support, frequent reviews to check in on me recently passed my English in collage
