My role is very difficult. I consists of doing compliance paperwork, all the admin which involves banking, emails, calls inbound and outbound, marketing, assisting on the counter and the kitchen designers

My assistant manager helps me when he can, especially when I get stuck. I do feel as if I could have received more training from my colleagues when I first started

My trainer Phil Eagan is amazing! He is so easily reachable and is happy to answer any question no matter how silly it is. He is also a great listener when it comes to needing a vent.

Yes! We sometimes - not often but quite rarely have call athon meetings where BD's and reps in the area get together and have a day focus on calling our accounts without the distractions! I love that event!

Yes
Why?
I have had a few issues with colleagues in the past, but it gets solved quickly. You don't just work with your team, there are events where you can meet and bond with people in the same roles as you but in different depots.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Howdens?
Be bubbly, be pushy. Never take things personal as the tradies does like to have a good laugh with banter
