I am a Rail Sidings Operator. My role entails rail movements and activities such as shunting rail freight, loading and driving.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed all the trainers, the content was delivered by each. The trainers also made everyone get get involved with fun and engaging activities but at the same time really educating everyone on the contents

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’m feel more confident in being able to identify hazards.
Carrying out inspections on plants and daily checks. Also more easier to do fault finding.
Confidence in delivering toolbox talks.
