Fault finding products down to the component level working with qualified technicians and engineers to help gain a proper understanding.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learned how different electrical components work. Developed my networking skills and how to manage my workload between work and college.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Its still a new programme so the structure of it is till being worked but for now it isnt something to complain about
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Im always working with a mentor whilst at work and there are regular meetings with our apprentice lead to make sure that we are keeping up with college work and life outside of the apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We get check ins with the college every 12 weeks to make sure that we are keeping up with college work and our EPA as well as making sure everything is going well in work
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The electrical science side definitely has helped me understand a lot of what is going on at work however there are some parts of the qualification that I havent felt any benefit from
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We are expected to get involved in an enrichment group that deals with extra-curricular activities outside of our day-to-day job with each group being unique to each other
