Within my role I have to book patients in for their appointments, pre-screen patients, complete various admin tasks, dispense glasses, repair and fit glasses and help patients choose frames.

The programmes structure makes sense in terms of order of learning certain skills and is really organised.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My line manager and colleagues are very supportive, however Asda are not as supportive as they do not allocate time within my hours for me to complete work without it affecting the clinic.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive so much support from my tutors! They make sure they take the time to check in with you and make sure that you understand the topic that has just been taught. If you need help then the tutors are quick to help and try and find solutions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

By doing this course it has helped me loads by giving me a better understanding of why and how certain things are done.
