I am based in Quality, my day-to-day role involves overseeing and ensuring quality is maintained in my allocated production area (PCB).
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy this programmed, some days are certainly better then others are im still new to the business so i haven't got a large depth of knowledge and experience to compare to

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt about time management, problem solving and dealing with difficult individuals

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure and support is brilliant. My year was the first year some big changes were implemented but i won't hold that against the business too much
How much support do you receive from your employer?

From my department i have all the support i could need, and we are made aware of all the resources we can access through GE. The only thing is the apprentice lead is often very busy so hard to reach
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I haven't began studies yet, however i have met the lady who assisted years before me sent from the training provider and she seems excellent
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

The site is a big site with alot of people. There are plenty of people who will share whatever interest it is you have, and if there isn't a group set up already there will be one

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to GE Aerospace?
The company actively wants you to succeed so if you make mistakes, own them and learn how to fix/prevent them. It will only improve you
