My day to day activity would be using CAD to help produce drawings.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It wasn't what I thought it would be, but I enjoyed the experience and appreciate the knowledge, skills and behaviour I've developed from this apprenticeship.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to use CAD to a good standard and how to analyse, manipulate, clean and present data.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It was very well organised with one session per month and work for us to complete in between.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Throughout the apprenticeship, I received support from the data science team, however the team was shortly disbanded afterwards. I would work on CAD for the majority of my time in work and I appreciate the new skill I have learnt, I would have benefitted from more time working on data analytics.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There was support whenever I needed it, from my tutor or trainer. If I was confused, I could book a session in with either to go through the situation.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

In my current role, I am still working on CAD so it doesn't benefit my current role too much. It is still important that I have gained these skills as I can use them in excel when required.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are social events set up around Christmas time and many networking opportunities available for early careers.
