Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role in finance is a good mixture of both business as usual and programs work meaning I get exposed to both sides of the finance function. For an apprenticeship rotation this is ideal as it prepares me for more possible future situations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

By anything controllable by my employer, the programme is enjoyable and I feel I am receiving a rounded experience covering lots of different things.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed skills using excel and SQL significantly through courses provided by fellow Amazon workers but also from courses that Amazon facilitate through third parties.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Through Kaplan the learning is rarely face to face and is largely online or on demand which means the studying can be very unstructured as is largely left to your own motivations to be completed but all other aspects are very well organised.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I feel that Amazon provides lots of support for me with my studies and with my work. I never feel that I can't take study days or don't have time to study as this is also a priority for my manager to ensure I have enough time,
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider overall is very supportive but contact with the talent coach from Kaplan can be difficult as they manage lots of students so replies can be slow and undetailed
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Studying for quite a broad finance qualification means that not all the things I learn are directly applicably but generally speaking everything will enhance my work in some way and teach me more about the finance function as a whole.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a range of sports to get involved in as well as a range of networking events with various different organisations. There is also a lot of organised volunteering.
