My job role is to produce technical drawings that can be simply interpreted by the fabricators for fabrication. This involves using the clients design team drawings, documents and standards to create a 3D model, assembly and detail drawings within my CAD system.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the split between working and gaining the work experience while studying and learning the theory.

Recently started going onto the shop floor to learn and understand how the fabricators read and fabricate using my drawings, would have been helpful to go onto the shop floor when I first started.
Could have gone onto a CAD course. Reassured and learnt from my supervisor.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

At college my tutors would explain and go through what is needed from the assignments in detail, allowing me to get a overall distinction qualification. For evidencing my work and relating them the KSBs for my workplace coach could have a better explanation and preparation for end point assessment.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
