Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Creating digital learning solutions for teams across our business, from pub teams to support centre workers. I manage projects from end to end, carrying out discovery initially then designing the learning solution.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The apprenticeship is really engaging and despite being virtual mainly, the sessions feel really engaging and interactive.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Definitely yes, I've learnt to manage a number of projects and understand the changing requirements of a large hospitality company. I've also learnt to use new systems and create a range of different learning solutions in new tools.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised. The sessions are arranged well in advance and are very well delivered. There are opportunities to seek extra support by booking in a check-in slot with our trainer, or attending a design clinic. The method of delivery is always varied.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots of support and opportunities to carry out work that supports the programme. However, it is difficult sometimes to have the time to actually test out new skills and build content, as our team is in such high demand and we need things built quickly.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots better - it's opened up my mind and making me push to try new tools and processes in my team at Greene King.

Be mindful of the chaos!! It's a very fast paced business with lots of change, and often priorities change and you have to adapt
