My role as an apprentice is to learn while being on the job and take on board the information the other guys give you.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

To the full extent I have enjoyed this apprenticeship all the guys have been great with me very helpful always offering there advice. Also I have really enjoyed the training courses which have been very helpful and really good well run courses.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt new skills while being at eon. Especially hand skills as before I was at eon I’d never of developed any of these skills
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Yes the programme is very well structured with a good balance with the classroom based work and the on site work. There’s never time periods where your just doing one of them.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Yes I have received a lot of support from my employer spending more time with me having days in the yard giving me extra support
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider offers everyone a lot of support. When we’ve been to Manchester for our power distribution russ the teacher was very helpful with everyone showing examples until everyone felt confident
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I do feel that the qualification through the training provider helps me perform better as they give you the necessary information to carry out the task safely
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there is a silverstone team day on the 8th may we also had the apprenticeship awards.

Eon have been great with me helping me with whatever i need always been there supporting me when I’ve struggled

I would say that just to be confident and give it your best at all times.
