Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Creating security requirements for projects, and making sure a projects design is secure throughout its lifecycle. Also general security tasks like policy writing, vulnerability management and pushing use of security tooling
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much, like all things in the beginning things are new and unfamiliar - In the short term you may even dislike what you are doing but as you get more comfortable with colleagues and day-to-day job you start to enjoy and become proficient within your role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learn the foundations of security from 0, some networking terminology and stuff learnt from outside interactions with other teams

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I am the driver for my apprenticeship both on the degree side and work side. Was hard for me at first as coming from school and the structure it gives you, being in charge of my responsibilities and development was tough but I managed, with time to adapt.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot, Managers are generally very helpful. Future careers team are also very supportive if needed. Employer also super supportive around training and development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
