Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is Sales Executive Apprentice, my day starts with meeting to plan for the day, checking my calendar for meetings and things to do in the day, to contact customers by phone and email, to log information in CRM, to report to Manager any issues, to gather information to help customers, to learn by different platforms ISP, Success Factors. my working days are Monday - Thursdays and on Fridays is my Study day
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy working in the company, assisting to events and learning. I truly enjoy helping customers and coaching other staff when needed. My training provider stablishes clear guidelines and I am performing excellent in my studies, also in my workplace I had a good performance review recently.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned regarding the organisation, procedures, sales techniques, competitors, CRM Siebel and Salesforce, I have been interviewed by ISP in the next Gen Podcasts, I have learned to videocall professionally, to organise and plan my time, to self study, to attend to different events. My presentations skills have also improved and my communication skills as well.

There have been changes, so at the moment they are handling them, we are still learning, performing in sales and following directions when contacting customers and performing accordingly to what is requested from us .
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Royal Mail is very supportive, they organise trainnings and events for us to connect with others within the organisation, in their success factors Platform I am self studying and also by providing the access to the ISP membership that allows us trainning in their website as well. in the role I have support from my Managers and menthor
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is really good supporting and assigning tasks to us, always explains and clarifies before an assignment and provided feedback after completion of any activity. Is always up to day with marking and honest regarding quality of the work delivered.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

At the moment they are not matching with the work we are doing 100% as we are following their learning programme and we are learning about organisation, markets, regulations etc and in our work place we are contacting customers, researching before it, gathering info, following procedures and handling objections etc
