Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves using P&IDs to mark up changes and new designs which will eventually be implemented on the plant, as well as attending safety concepts.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme very much as it allows me to see what chemical engineering is like in the real world, allowing for on hand experience which I really enjoy.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my skills revolving around P&IDs and how to read them, as well as my problem solving skills around calculations. I have also learnt how to use documents to track my work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well structured in terms of the working side, however in terms of the university side, it could be better as some of the assignments given can be unclear.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a good amount of support from my employer as if I have any questions or am unsure, someone will always try to help me understand no matter how little it is.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have received a moderate amount of support which varies on the module lecturer.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Some of the modules I do are not really relevent for my job role, however some are quite helpful for my everyday task
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are plenty of extra-curricular activities at work such as a football team, litter picking volunteering at the local park, promoting apprenticeships at colleges and schools.
