How well organised/structured is your programme?

It would be nice to have slightly longer gaps between the terms because usually there is only 1 or 2 weeks from one lot of coursework submissions to the next term of teaching starting. My first lecture of capstone preparation is before my final coursework submission which is quite silly timetabling. It will be hard to concentrate on the Capstone project when there is still work outstanding to be submitted from the term before
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My team support me by suggesting people in the business to contact to find the information that I need. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right people to speak to, but generally they are happy to discuss my module with me. My workload is eased off when I am busy with apprenticeship study which is a massive help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Not much. Feedback on coursework can sometimes be quite limited so you arent sure how to improve for next time. We have an online forum to ask the lecturer questions, but answers are often slow or limited.

Some modules have directly helped with my work e.g. Python, and Scrum and Agile, but most have no direct relevance to helping with my work

Yes, the VMO2 Future Careers Committee organise various social events which are a great way to meet colleagues in different parts of the business and on different apprenticeship or grad schemes. There are also networking events including with Liberty Global, who are a parent company to VMO2.

Do not worry if your job role isnt initially what you want to do long term because there are opportunities to move to different parts of the business that may suit you better
