My role is software engineering. I attend meetings and I code, debug and test.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme a lot as I get a real feel of what a software engineer does in a day to day basis. University is also great, learning new knowledge. However, it can be improved.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new programming language such as JavaScript and using react framework. I’ve learnt the usage of Linux and docker. I am able to read and understand logs.

I receive a lot of support from my employer from mental well-being to work life balance. Can’t complain at all
