Every day is different and I am learning many different tasks and how to correctly do them. Some days I do a lot of welding but mostly I fabricate jobs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme because it differs every day and I am always improving

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt almost all of my skills that I have to this date at Shepley Engineers and got to put them into practice daily.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I liked the 6 months at training centre at the start of my apprenticeship to learn the basic skills and then I put them into practice and learn more skills in my company
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Whenever I am not sure how to do something, there is always someone here to help me and talk me through the correct way of doing it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There is a review after every 2 months and this keeps me up to date on all of my tasks and coursework I need to complete
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Although most of my practical learning has been through my employer, my qualification helps me develop my theory skills and learn a lot what you need to know when progressing practical skills

Yes
Why?
Because they are very helpful with apprentices and they will help you develop your skills and teach you how to do the parts of the job you don’t yet understand

Make sure that you are willing to listen to the advice being given to you when you first start.
