I am a town planner. My day to day job involves writing planning statements, letters and representations to Local Plan consultations. My job is to help clients gain planning permission for development sites.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my job and find the industry interesting and constantly changing.

Before working at Savills I didn't know anything about planning. Now, I have a strong understanding of the planning system and have developed my project management skills.

Savills provides a good internal support system for completing the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I found LSBU less supportive and had numerous issues with them as a provider.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Everything we learnt at university was interesting and I have broadly applied to my job. There were some good practical modules.
