Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Every 6 months you rotate around the company on different placements. These placements can be with any team around the company as long as they have the capacity to take you on. Day to day you work on projects that your specific placement is currently working on. Placement managers are extremely supportive and are fully aware that you are an apprentice there to gain experience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Extremely high, it's a great experience and the whole program is designed around the fact that you are an apprentice. There is no expectation for you to come in and deliver the next big thing - That being said, there is possibilities for that if you want
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My first placement was a data analytics team so I learned all about different techniques, dashboarding, developing visualisations etc. My current placement is within AI and using Python libraries to interact with AI models

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Airbus?
Sound interested in the role and enthusiastic in all the interviews. Things like grades are mainly irrelevant and barely looked at by the hiring managers, as long as you meet the minimum requirement for the course, you have a big chance
