Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am occupied with raising awareness for, and auditing, vendor growth plans and other business reviews for vendors within my department. I also work to identify out of stock issues for products within my category and generate solutions to get them back on the marketplace.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The subject of my work is not the most interesting or exciting at a surface level, but working as a team to solve issues and provide value is satisfying and enjoyable.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed some Excel skills. I believe that my communication has been greatly strengthened since I started as I regularly have to update many stakeholders and share information with my team. I also think my time management has been improved.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

On the education side, it is very well structured. When it comes to work, there is little structure and I often struggle to understand my role in the team - I do not feel I have a real purpose or responsibility. There is quite a discordance between the content I learn and the work that I do - it makes it hard to apply my knowledge or to complete assignments.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support - my colleagues are friendly and always available to help and explain anything I do not understand.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support. I learn well in the lessons and from my assignments - and my training provider is always available to book time with and discuss my development.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I do not think it helps me much at all - there is little to transfer over into my role. The educational content is very holistically focused, broad, and theoretical, while the work I do is quite focused, and operational.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We often have social events as a team. There is opportunity to join associations and much more in regards to extra-curricular activities but I do not involve myself.
