Since I'm part of the first cohort of apprentices, coming in 2022, the structure and organisation has been developing and has much improved over time. There is a comprehensive roadmap involved on assessing where your skills are and what you need to develop on.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I haven't been short off support. This is another aspect that has improved over time

If this is the career that someone wants to aim towards, there is an amazing opportunity here. It is enjoyable and satisfying as an apprentice, would be more so as a qualified mechanic.

Research the company, facility and the aims of what bombardier Biggin Hill does. Understand the basics of handskills and tools. Demonstrate your enthusiasm regarding this line of work
