Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
I'm also getting to grips with tools like Qlik Sense, which is pretty cool for visualizing network performance – seeing where things are getting busy and where we need to improve. It's not just techy stuff, though; there's a lot of working with other people, like the engineers and the planners, to make sure what we're doing fits with what Vodafone wants overall.
It's a proper mix of learning the technical side and getting involved in real projects, which is exactly what I was hoping for in an apprenticeship.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I appreciate the variety – from data analysis with tools like Qlik Sense to learning about new technologies. The focus on developing both technical and communication skills is a major plus.
It's challenging but offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and contribute, setting a strong foundation for my network engineering career.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Communication skills have been key, learning to explain technical concepts to various audiences. I'm also developing project management abilities, including time management and meeting deadlines.
Critically, my problem-solving and analytical thinking have been sharpened through tackling real-world network challenges. It's been a comprehensive development experience
