Performance Marketing Intern Review

My daily hours are from 10am-6pm. Throughout the day I am working on tasks assigned to me by my manager e.g. campaign creation and optimization. Tasks vary in duration ranging from ones that can be completed by the end of the day to ones that last the entire internship. I feel as though I am valued and an important member of the team as tasks are significant and affect the performance of the department.

Yes. After my onboarding was finished I began to be assigned tasks and projects for me to work on. While there was a great system in place for me to ask for help and clarify aspects of the project, I was allowed to work on a lot of meaningful work independently.

I have both learnt new skills as well as developed some existing skills. These include things such as data analysis, being able to use important tools and platforms, presentation skills, communication, teamwork etc.

There is a great system in place at King in order to onboard you at the beginning and make sure that you are able to use all the necessary tools and understand company specifics. Throughout the internship you have a mentor and a buddy who help you through your internship with anything that you may need help with. There is also a culture of collaboration and asking for help.

There is a great company culture at King. The company is very inclusive, understanding, and flexible. There are also frequent company events, meals, and activities. The office also has a good vibe and upon visiting it becomes very apparent that the company as well as your peers care about you.

I thoroughly enjoyed my internship at King. I have had a great time, learnt so much, and met amazing people. I would strongly recommend this opportunity to anyone with an interest in the industry. The company culture is also one that I have loved being a part of so much that I would recommend any position in this company.
