Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves working within the grocery partnerships team within Amazon where my role involves merchandising, creating campaigns and promotions and also managing data within our UK team. My day-to-day would include working with external suppliers and creating promotional activity onsite and also merchandising the pages we own within amazon.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying my apprenticeship as I am learning towards a qualification and also gaining experience working with professionals and becoming confident within my role.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt various skills and also developed them throughout my apprenticeship. These have included teamwork, organisation, leadership, ownership, bias for action and also management skills which have helped me to succeed so far within my apprenticeship.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well structured balancing work and time for my learning part towards my qualification.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support from my employer within my apprenticeship. Whether this is work based or apprenticeship focused the support is excellent.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I also receive great support from my training provider who answer any questions and hold progress calls regularly to ensure I am on track
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification is helping me gain valuable skills and knowledge to move forward and progress within my role ensuring I perform at a high level.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are social activities within my work. These can be within my team or Amazon as a whole which has been great ways to network and also build stronger relationships with my colleagues.

Amazon is a amazing place to work with a great company culture. I can see the opportunities within the business and also the people I work with are great and push me to achieve the best of my ability. The company is also a great network where it is an excellent place to meet new people and develop within your career.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Amazon?
When applying for Amazon I would ensure you show ownership of tasks you have previously done/jobs which show great characteristics for the business. I would also read on the company culture and our Leadership Principles which is a great way to understand what is expected when working within Amazon
