Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
This apprenticeship puts you within a marketing team at Amazon. One great benefit is you are treated, more or less, as a full time marketing employee. Whilst this does involve marketing activities, work at Amazon can be pretty narrowly focused on a specific function or process - and I believe this is true for most apprentices. If you are pro-active though, there are so many opportunities to 'branch out' of your given role.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
This is a well supported programme with time allocated for apprenticeship work. Plenty of networking opportunities too. I am enjoying it so far!

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
This apprenticeship will push your skills and you'll certainly develop new skills. Project management, data analysis and stakeholder management are the fundamental 'Amazonian' skills I have picked up.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Very supportive employer - however the level of apprentice support may be subject to your manager.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
LDN have been a great provider so far. Lessons are well structured, however, are delivered mostly online via ready-made lessons; content is good though.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
As someone fairly new to marketing, the lessons covered have given a solid foundation in which I develope my marketing skills. As mentioned, positions at Amazon at this level are pretty siloed - so having a course that covers wider marketing techniques is really helpful for those interested in getting a wider knowledge on marketing.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Lots of extra-curricular activities to get involved with. There are many groups to get involved with.
