Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Carrying out environmental assessments for clients in the form of site visits and report writing. This inculdes ecology, carbon management, air pollution and other environmental topics.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme, I have a great work-life balance and gain a salary whilst studying towards a degree and gaining industry experience.

Yes, I've learnt survey techniques whilst undertaking site visits at work.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

After some initial issues with a previous training provider, the programme now runs smoothly. I attend university 1/2 weeks a year with the rest of the course delivered online throughout the year.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My line manager and environmental colleagues are very helpful whenever I ask for any assistance with reviewing assignments before submissions.

There are lots of crossovers between my studies and my workplace, however, there are also some aspects of the course that I would not come across at work. I enjoy learning different aspects that I would not cover at work including gaining laboratory experience.
