Software engineer - working within the team to hit sprint goals by working on tickets/work that is expected to be completed by the end of sprint
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I finished the program in September 2024, I enjoyed learning something new which has led to a knew career.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learned how to do software engineering, improved of skills such as speaking to and audience and presenting.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure of the program was okay, however we had issues with lecturers and started the college side of it late. We were also the first apprentices within CACI so there were a few bumps in to road but all ended well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

CACI as an employer we very supportive throughout the apprenticeship and gave ample time to complete college tasks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support from SGSC was okay, when our lecturer changed to Ray the support improved massively.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I don't feel it had a massive impact in performing better, however completing the portfolio and project report helped document what I had done through out the two year course.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I attend most social events within CACI, I have also got involved in outreach projects and attend careers fairs with the outreach team,

Yes
Why?
CACI have a really friendly feel, everyone is kind. The social aspect of the company is really good and a lot of effort is put into building peer relationships.
