Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Depending on the team as this a rotational programme it often involves compiling, analysing and presenting date. Preparing reports, site inspections, meetings/communication with clients
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
It is good - you are immersed within the market and are given good levels of responsibility. The rotations allows you to explore different areas within the company and the industry (they can however add an extra stress when it comes to securing your next rotation especially for the competitive seats). The pay for a someone living in London is also low - I appreciate this can only be raised to a certain level but perhaps could be compensated with a more substantial bonus.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Computer based skills on excel and powerpoint
Soft skills including communication / handling clients
Market information in regard to the UK / specifically London property market

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme in most respects is very well organised. HR are helpful with any queries or issue you may have. There is an endless list of people who can help you as well as the direct contact with your supervisor and counsellor. They prepare you well for the APC and give you sufficient time to complete your masters whilst working.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Very sufficient levels - through your supervisor, counsellor, APC mentor in the team your in and other people you meet throughout your time at the business
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Study day per week
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
APC wise I appreciate it is an important qualification
I don't feel having to complete the masters is of any direct help to my performance within the role. First of all, I work in residential departments and the masters is completely based on a commercial content. The content is also what I learn at work and its better to be learning in real life examples rather than through essays and multiple choice questionnaires. I dont find the masters helpful
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Rugby 7's, networking events
