Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

A typical day involves replying to emails, going on inspection, conducting comparable research and valuing properties and writing consultancy reports. I am also involved in completing development appraisals as well.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my programme due to the interesting work that is always going on. Furthermore, the people I work with are really friendly and the work culture is fantastic. However, it would sometimes be better to have slightly more responsibility.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have definitely improved my organisation and time management skills, especially balancing a degree with my work. I think also my communication skills from day-to-day interactions at the office.

It is extremely well organised with a lot of support on offer and structured training days.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot of support, ranging from work and study support, to more personal support such as pensions, rewards and bonuses.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A huge amount of support is on offer. There are training days and webinars on offer as well as a plethora of online resources to utilise.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps a great deal as I can understand and complete my daily tasks at work a lot better. At the same time, my work helps me to perform better in my studies as I can translate knowledge from work to study.
