Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Shunting & Loading trains on the sidings, creating, reviewing and bringing documents up to the new Tarmac standard. Ticketing and invoicing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Think it is brilliant, It gets you involved in tasks & roles you wouldn't otherwise be involved in. Lots of networking, therefore meet lots of new people in and out of our business (Contractors).

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, very interesting and motivating to learn more. Get a better understanding of all sections and areas of the quarry, including other employees roles and their day-to-day tasks.

Receive a lot of support from my line manager with my role in general & all my course work.

I think it helps me to perform better as I have a greater understanding of different aspects of the company which enables me to grow and learn within the business.

I attended a health and wellbeing day at St. Georges park where I met lots of new people from different areas. I also got to understand people better.
