Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I aid the site team in tracking overall progress and report this internally. I schedule activities within the project for when we anticipate them to begin/finish with help from the site team. I report progress monthly and weekly in the form of reports and report this back to the client.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my programme as it gives me the opportunity to gain knowledge across all functions within the business whilst figuring out what I enjoy the most. I am supported in my role and encouraged to progress further, learn new software and push the boundaries of my day to day role.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned a multitude of new skills, notably people skills, dealing with difficult scenarios and meeting deadlines. And developed skills such as my presenting skills. I have also become proficient in various software's such as Excel, P6 Primavera, PowerApps and PowerBI. These software's aid my day to day role.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I find the structure both at college and in the workplace very structured with a clear plan set out for me to meet targets and progress throughout my 4 years, whether academically or within my role. I know where to find support and I find the support structure in place makes it easy for me to ask for this support.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive ample support from all angles, whether its the team on site helping me to understand our works, or my manager teaching me valuable lessons as to why we do things the way we do. I also have support from my ADP who pushes me both academically and within the business. Support can come from various other areas as well but the core network provides ample support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive ample support from my employer working towards my qualifications, this includes regular check ups on the quality of teaching and regular checks regarding my grades I am achieving. I am set targets annually on college specifically and I'm encouraged to meet these.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification gives me knowledge on the systems that we install, often when I am down on site I can recognise items that we have learned about and I can supplement this information into my day to day. Specifically this year we learned about health and safety, which enabled me to understand why we do what we do as a business with regards to H&S
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are lots of socials, volunteering activities and wellbeing days to get involved in. As well as these, there are charitable events like the London bridges walk to get involved in, these are great for speaking to people in the office I otherwise wouldn't interact with.

The people, the work, the exciting jobs to get involved in, the support that is offered particularly as an apprentice, the benefits and above all the fact that my hard work is recognised, this is a great feeling
