Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
Helping the operations team on site, focusing on working to deadlines, within budget and in a safe manner

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
I have learnt a lot throughout the course of my apprenticeship and gained skills that I look forward to taking forward into my future at NG Bailey

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
The skills that I am using on a day to day basis now in the fourth year of my apprenticeship are ones that I simply didn't have at the start of my apprenticeship.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

5/5
At the start of your apprenticeship you are given a framework and clear goals/targets you need to do throughout your apprenticeship, it is just out to the apprentice to grasp the opportunity.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
Regular reviews and discussions are had with line managers and apprentice development partners throughout your time as an apprentice offering support and help where needed.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

4/5
Whilst at Leeds College of Building there is plenty of support offered to help get through your qualifications

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

3/5
The qualifications offer a good base layer of knowledge, but the majority of my learning has been out on site and on the job

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

2/5
There has been intermittent 5 a side teams and opportunities for networking, but it seems like there is less of this on site than in the main offices
