Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
The day can vary a lot depending on what department you are in. In commercial, I often update trackers and assist in writing compensation events and early warning notices.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I'm really enjoying the apprenticeship! I'm learning new things everyday and have plenty of work to do. I'm never bored in the office and I have found everyone to be lovely to work with.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have become a lot more familiar with programs such as excel. I've also learnt several others programmes which are relevant to the role. My confidence has definitely improved since starting the job.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is very well structured. We do rotations which cover a variety of topics so you can dip your toes into each department. College is also done in blocks which you get told ahead of time, so you can organise things around it.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer. If I ever have any questions or concerns, there are multiple people who I can contact who will try their best to assist.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Our training provider, Leeds college of Building, have been very helpful. You can still message your tutors when you're not in college and they will guide you with your assignments.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification is directly related to my role, therefore everything I learn in lesson can be applied to my job.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
In London, NGB have staff social events regularly. There are also lots of options for volunteering work and ways to get involved with the community.
