I monitor the health, safety and environment considerations on site and implement actions where necessary. I monitor progress and quality day to day and ensure that things are kept on top of. We look ahead to our programme to ensure that we are meeting deadlines and progressing well with works.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy working on day release continuing my HNC as I can use my day to day work tasks to be used on my course

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many many construction related methods and activities. I have reinforced myself to think what I should look for with regards to health and safety and environmental concerns regularly. I have also improved my time management.

I feel that working alongside college has aided me massively in allowing me to manage my time, and implementing what I learn in my day to day job into my qualifications work.

Yes, kier undertake many charity and well being events all throughout the year. These being the kier olympics, kier cricket tournaments and many charity events.

Why?
Because I have found it the best company that I have worked for since I have left school and that everyone in work is helpful for when you would need it. The 8 months that I have worked since I started have flown by and I’ve loved the whole time!

Be confident and honest of what you know and present yourself professionally as how you present yourself goes a long way.
