Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am working in the credit control team, contacting customers by phone and email to try and arrange payments for overdue debts.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy the programme, there is a good balance of college work to complete while still being manageable working full time. All my colleagues are supportive and i have a good relationship with everyone in the office.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt new skills, such as using lots of systems required for my job role. I think my communication skills have improved since starting, due to having to speak to customers all day.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is well organised, with a work based tutor tracking my progress and keeping my managers up to date. They set out a plan with salary progression as I move to higher AAT qualifications. I also change teams each year to get a variation of work experience.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive lots of support, from when I started everyone was helpful and didnt hesitate to assist with any questions i had about the job i was doing.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive lots of support from the training provider. Having monthly meetings with my Work based tutor, too keep track of my progress and raise any issues i am having.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I think it helps as the work i complete in college, theory and practical work, gives me a better understanding of what i do in my job role. Meaning i can respond to customers more easily and effectively.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
As an apprentice, i have been offered opportunities to go to networking events with all the royal mail apprentices from across the business.
