Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is based within audit. We review and perform tests on accounts which are prepared by our clients accountant to ensure that they are presenting themselves truthfully and fairly. Therefore, my job involves a plethora of tests and different functions to prove fair representation.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do enjoy my programme to a great extent. The workload is manageable, there is plenty of avenues for development and help when I require it. I have taken on amicable responsibility for myself. I have seen a lot of development in my understanding of how to carry out an audit.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very organised. The college time is very structured and help is placed in our calendars along the way to ensure I receive the most help possible. Work is very complex and different which allows me to get the best of both worlds in my work and study life.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Initially, there was a lot of support with exams, but this has slowed as of recent as I have seen less support sessions and more expectation for us to independently get on with things. However, there has been great support with training and development within my work life.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Initially, there was a lot of support with exams, but this has slowed as of recent as I have seen less support sessions and more expectation for us to independently get on with things. However, we do receive study leave before we sit our exams.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Gives me a greater understanding of most aspects of my work. A lot of what is learned in college is applied within the workplace at a much more complex level, which is good as college builds the base for my eventual understanding received from my managers.

Yes, there are a plethora of networks and events to attend throughout the year. From sports, to parties.
