Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My main role is a commodity manager role. I support internal kitting changes, lead RFQ's and liase with suppliers. I also work with sustainable packaging projects. I am working on power apps and supporting supplier onboarding.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love my programme. Great opportunity to trial different roles and internal businesses. Really enjoy it!

Very well organised. Very clear what to do.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots of support. I reach out to both my line manager and scheme manager and they both support me with all my concerns.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I struggle some times with Kaplan. It's difficult to get a response from them sometimes and I feel like you are left on your own a little bit once you have finished exam content.

Why?
I have loved my time here. Everyone wants you to succeed and everyone is extremely supportive. I had some fantastic opportunities with work which I don't think I would have got anywhere else.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens?
Be openminded, try everything and show that you want to learn new things.
